Multifunctional fire resistant neck gaiter made with flame retardant and antistatic lightweight modacrylic fibers.

Thanks to its versatility and elasticity, this FR neck gaiter can be worn in different positions to expand the protection zone.

It has been designed to absorb moisture quickly and effectively, making it ideal for medium and high intensity activities and/or hot environments.

Product features

ANTISTATIC

Certified product that incorporates protective fabric with electrostatic properties to prevent the accumulation of electrostatic charges that eventually can generate sparks. A spark is capable of causing a fire or explosion under certain circumstances.

FIRE RESISTANT

Fire Resistant Fabric tested and certified to offer protection against heat and flames.

ULTRALIGHT / LIGHTWEIGHT

Low weight product, designed to be extremely light to wear and carry.

Moisture Management

Fabric structure that transfers sweat and vapor away from the body through the fabric. Provides comfort and helps keeping body temperature stable.

MULTIFUNCTIONAL

A wide range of utilities and ways to wear the same product. A single BUFF® neckwear brings many use opportunities.

QUICK-DRY

Fabric with high wicking properties, evaporates moisture faster.

COMPOSITION

69% Modacrylic, 28% FR Viscose, 3% Antistatic Fiber.

PPE CERTIFICATIONS

Product certified as Personal Protective Equipment against the risk of electrostatic charge accumulation for the prevention of incendiary discharges in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/425, having obtained EU Type Examination certification in accordance with Standards EN ISO 13688:2013 Protective Clothing - General Requirements; EN 1149-5:2008 or EN1149-5:2018 Electrostatic dissipative protective clothing.

Product with protection properties against risks caused by low visibility. The enhanced visibility performance features have been tested on the fabric in accordance with the following test standards: chromaticity coordinate, CIE 15; colour fastness of fluorescent material, contrasts and combination, ISO 105-X12 (colour fastness to rubbing), ISO 105-E04 (colour fastness to perspiration), ISO 105-C06 (colour fastness to domestic laundering); photometric performance of retroreflective and combined materials (CIE 54.2). *Only applies to the Yellow Fluor design

LIGHTWEIGHT FR NECK GAITER

Modacrylic fibers are commonly used to create technical FR fabrics with good quick drying properties that will be used to develop flame retardant PPE. Due to its specific weight, they keep protective gear from being uncomfortably heavy. This is especially important in a wide range of demanding jobs and working situations, where high body temperatures can be easily achieved.
