BUFF® Safety products for face wind protection made with top technology by Gore-Tex® are designed to block wind penetration while offering great comfort. The windproof fabric from BUFF® windproof product family has been tested and complies with the thermal resistance (RCT) and air permeability (AP) standards under UNE-EN 14058:2017 regarding "Protective clothing – Garments for protection against cool environments," obtaining a performance level of RCT class 1, and AP class 3 (AP<5).
Windproof balaclavas and hats have been developed with the latest in-house production technologies that can be applied to headwear accessories to achieve optimal fit and prevention against skin irritation by eliminating seams. In addition to Gore-Tex®, the BUFF® Crosstech balaclava incorporates Thermo Fastwick® and Carvico® fabrics for thermal insulation and excellent breathability.
