From the mountain trails of Chamonix to the sunny shores of Barcelona, the BUFF® Run Club Van Tour 2025 has reached its finish line, but the spirit of the journey keeps running strong.

From August 26th to October 4th, our van traveled across Europe, uniting runners, communities, and friends under one shared passion: the joy of running together.

What started as a simple idea to celebrate movement, connection, and creativity turned into an unforgettable adventure of 9 stops, 8 countries, and 918 participants.

Each stop told a different story.

In Chamonix, where it all began with Jolie Foulée, the mountains set the tone: breathtaking landscapes, high spirits, and the unmistakable energy of trail running during the iconic UTMB Mont Blanc event.

Then came Milan, where pizza and running found the perfect mix with the Pizza Run Club crew, who even turned their route into a pizza-shaped Strava art, the first in BUFF® Run Club history.

From there, the van crossed borders and altitude. In Salzburg, runners faced 2 km of steep stairs before celebrating with a well-earned breakfast.

As the Salzi Runs Club team put it:

“It was a fun and connecting collective energy, running up the segment to Richterhöhe together.”

“Life can be so easy: a good run with our community, a challenge, and coffee & bread for a happy runner’s end.”

In Zurich, despite the rain, the 6:ZH Club led a 6:15 AM scavenger run that turned gray skies into something unforgettable. Even on the stormiest mornings, energy and smiles can outshine the weather.

City Lights and Running Beats

The second half of the tour brought us into the rhythm of Europe’s cities, each adding its own unique energy.

In Berlin, the Run N Rave community showed us how to mix movement and music with a sunrise run that ended in a dance battle, complete with head spins and backflips. Running had never looked this fun.

In Paris, the iconic Rue Lepic climb became the star of the night thanks to Jolie Foulée.

As their run leader Yanis proudly shared:

“We took the KOM on Rue Lepic. That was the challenge of the night, and mission completed.”

Amsterdam brought pure speed and urban vibes with Running Junkies: fast feet, big energy, and endless cheers through the city streets.

Then came London, where more than a hundred runners joined the Progress Running Club along the Thames.

Some even came from far away. One participant took a three-hour train just to be there. This was proof that community and passion can move people across borders and train schedules.

The Grand Finale: Barcelona

After thousands of kilometers on the road, the van rolled into Barcelona, home to our company and the perfect place for one final celebration.

Together with the Spaceship Running Crew, more than 150 runners gathered by the sea for a sunset run that was as chaotic as it was beautiful.

As one runner joked:

“It turned into a fun game of dodging people on the Barceloneta promenade and trying to make it to the lights in one piece!”

Halfway through the run, groups started forming naturally, cheering each other on through the final stretch. And when the finish line came into view, something special happened:

“The last two km were the best. Suddenly everyone saw the finish line and started sprinting in pairs. The competitive spirit came alive.”

The tour ended with music, laughter, and post-run conversations by the beach. It was the perfect closing note to a journey built on connection and joy.

Running, Community, and Connection

Throughout the tour, we covered 58 kilometers, met incredible people, and shared moments that remind us why we run. From sunrise starts to post-run laughs, every kilometer was proof that running is not just a sport; it is a way to bring people together.

This tour was built on collaboration: between local clubs, cities, and cultures; between those who ran their first 5 km and those who have lost count; and between a community that believes in movement as a way of life.
